I remember how my passion for photography started – I wanted to get the best out of my W800i cameraphone’s humble 2-megapixel. I came across a thread on a local tech forum where people would share their phone photos. Some of the shots were very impressive so I started emulating them by taking shots of my food (As any typical Malaysian would do! 😉 ). Slowly, I moved on to using a compact and finally in 2010, I bought my first dSLR – the Nikon D90.

Today, I alternate between shooting in digital and in film. While the argument of digital vs film is as old as time, I refuse to take sides as by keeping your options open, you giving yourself a large palette of choices to express yourself. At the end of the day, photography is less about getting the perfect shot than telling a story.

After all, a picture paints a thousand words.
